The first Sunday of November, Christ the King Lutheran Church commemorated Reformation Day with a memorable service of music and the word.

We are blessed with a very accomplished organist, Kathy Brodin, who played this stirring rendition of "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God" (German, Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott), by Martin Luther.  The words are based on Psalm 46, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

This is an audio recording of Kathy playing the organ, together with a photographic slide-show of some of the liturgical symbols in our worship.

(I like to have the sound turned up, but then I am a lover of organ music... Tom Wackerfuss)
